Whole wheat lasagna noodles
ground beef
oregano
garlic powder
chorizo sausages
paremsan cheese
ricotta cheese
eggs
pasta sauce – the best sauce!
mozzarella cheese

How To Make Easy Peasy Lasagna with Ricotta and Chorizo Sausage.
Follow along for step by step instructions on how to make this Easy peasy meat and cheese lasagna.
STEP 1
Preheat the oven to 375F
STEP 2
Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Add lasagna noodles and 2 tbsp of olive oil in the boiling water and cook until al dente or follow package directions. Usually about 10 minutes. Drain, rinse with cold water and set aside.
STEP 3
Squeeze the meat from chorizo sausages and add to a large skillet with ground beef, oregano, and garlic powder. Throughly cook over medium heat until browned, drain and set aside.
STEP 4
In a medium bowl add eggs, ricotta cheese and parmesan cheese mix until well blended.

Ingredients
- 12 Whole wheat lasagna noodles only need 9, but I cook a couple extra for breakage
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 tsp oregano
- 2 tsp garlic powder
- 6 chorizo sausages
- 1/2 cup paremsan cheese
- 500 grams ricotta cheese
- 2 eggs
- 880 ml pasta sauce
- 2 cups mozzarella cheese grated
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375F

- CHEESE MIXTUREIn a medium bowl add 2 eggs, 500 grams ricotta cheese and 1/2 cup paremsan cheeseparmesan1/2 cup paremsan cheese mix until well blended.
- LAYERING THE LASAGNA
- Lay 3 noodles across the bottom of the baking dish.
- Top with 1/3 pasta sauce
- 1/3 beef and chorizo mixture
- 1/3 ricotta and egg mixture.
- repeat layers as needed
- TOP LAYER – end with a layer of sauce and 2 cups mozzarella cheese
- BAKINGCover with aluminum foil and bake for 40 minutes or until lasagna is bubbling and cheese is melted.
